1968 Austin Morris Minor Pick up Hotrod Pink in Wadebridge, Cornwall for sale
It is with a heavy heart and a tear in my eye that I am putting my beloved truck up for sale. I have owned the car since 2004 when I was just 15 years old, it was my first car which my dad built for me and I have loved being "the girl with the pink truck" ever since. Everyone knows the car and its like being a celebrity when they find out its mine! But I am moving to Australia next year and I unfortunately won't be able to take it with me. My dad and I took it off the road just a few years ago to restore it again, putting a lot of metal back into places where it had rotted away and sending it for a respray hoping to put it back to the same colour as before but alas no luck it had to go pink instead. Hours and hours of blood, sweat and tears (literally!) have gone into getting it back on the road. It has recently had a new engine put in it, back to a 1275cc midget engine, which i believe has had a lot of work done on it. You will see from the pictures that it has lovely white bucket seats which are really comfortable and has had a roof chop. You will also notice in the pictures that for the most part the interior isn't finished, leaving the fun bit for the new owner to put their stamp on it! My funds have had to be allocated elsewhere and so I have never finished it, I have been driving it for the last 12 years without it being finished though so it's not the end of the world. There is so much going on with this car that it's hard to remember everything that's been done, it's had a new steering rack, has disc brakes on the front, and will come with a filing cabinet full of receipts! I highly recommend viewing and test driving this car, it is so much fun, rear wheel drive and nice big chunky tyres on the back make it a really fun truck to drive but without the hefty fuel bill to go with it or insurance (£100 a year fully comp and tax exempt). It will also come with 2 new tyres for the back not yet fitted. I welcome all genuine calls and questions however I am a driver for a living so best not to call until after 5:30pm.
